Things to Bring

Classes will move right along and you'll want to be ready to learn and have some fun during the week. Horse and cattle work aren't always easy, but you don't have to worry as our experienced instructors will be right there with you every step of the way.

If you need a little extra time on various skills, they'll be right there to assist you.

For your Montana Cowboy School, here are a few recommended items that you'll want to consider bringing along with you:

	Working Ranch Clothes – Jeans and long and short sleeve work shirts. Cowboy hat and baseball cap.
	Clothes that can be layered with changing weather conditions
	Cowboy Boots (rounded toe ropers versus pointed toe) with riding heel are preferred. As an alternative, boots with a 1 inch heel are acceptable.

	Hiking Boots - there are tons of local trails that are fun to explore during your free time.
	Tennis Shoes

	Birth Certificate, passport (needed if you plan to cross the border to/from Canada and the US), and photo ID - Passport WILL BE REQUIRED to pass into Canada and back into the United States as of January 1, 2008.
	Rain gear/jacket/slicker
	Windbreaker
	Swimsuit
	Cell phone
	Phone card
	Comfortable "after class hour" clothes...Shorts, T-Shirts, etc.
