If a quality Cowboy School is what you're looking for, then you've come to the right place...Montana Cowboy School combines both quality and a great value and you'll have an opportunity to have fun and experience it all at Lake Koocanusa Arena.

Rain or shine, we'll always be ready to go!  It won't matter what the weather is doing around us because our state-of-the-art facility will always allow us to continue our classes in the indoor arena area.

Bright with extremely high quality lighting, well ventilated, and fantastic footing all come to mind when describing the new Lake Koocanusa indoor arena area.  Insulated and heated, the entire building is 150' by 250'.

The working arena (heated in the winter) itself is 100 feet x 220 feet with high quality footing on a compacted clay base.

The lighting in the arena has been engineered and designed by lighting specialists to ensure a bright, well lit, atmosphere.

The arena is set up for individual riding, but can also be effectively used for all horse activities.

We also have a large outdoor arena and, weather permitting, we'll use this arena too.

In fact, from late October through early April you'll find Lake Koocanusa Arena home to the "Winter Series Rodeo".  There are at least two "full" rodeos each month which run at least 2 1/2 hours and include everything from Bull Riding, Saddlebronc, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Jr. Steer Riding, and Barrel Racing.
